I'm James Binge. Binge Built started because I'd had enough of watching honest workmen get stitched up by big companies. Renting a website they'd never own. Locked into long contracts where the price only ever goes up. With terrible support when something breaks.

So I do it straight. I build websites for businesses like yours, in your name, on your terms. No leash, no nonsense, no hidden fees.

Common questions

The honest answers.

Do I really own it?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name, the website files are yours, and the Google listing is your Google account. If we ever part ways, you keep the lot. Nothing switches off.
What if I want to leave?
Text me and we're done. No notice period, no exit fee. I hand over your domain login and site files and you carry on with someone else, or on your own. No drama.
Will I be top of Google?
I can't promise that, and anyone who does is having you on. What I can do is set up and manage your Google Business Profile properly (accurate details, the right categories, photos and reviews), which is what actually gets you showing up on the map when someone nearby searches for your trade.
Do you do SEO?
Yep — every site I build comes with the SEO groundwork done properly: fast, mobile-first pages, the right local wording (your trade and the towns you cover), clean page titles, and the behind-the-scenes Google tags that help you turn up when someone nearby searches. Pair that with a well-run Google listing and that's what gets the phone ringing. Want to push harder — climbing for tougher search terms month after month? That's a bigger job I can take on as a bolt-on, and I'll always be straight about what it'll actually do.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?
Honestly? If you've got the evenings spare to learn them, they're grand. But most tradespeople don't — and a half-built site that never quite goes live helps nobody. I do the lot for you, get it found on Google, hand you the keys, and you get back on the tools. Your time's worth more than fighting a website builder.
Do I even need a website?
Not always. Plenty of trades do fine on a well-run Google listing alone. That's why "The Get-Found" exists at £29/mo. A website helps you look the part and win the bigger jobs, but start where it makes sense for you.
How do I pay?
The build is a one-off by card — and on The Standard you can split it: £99 to start, £150 when your site goes live. The monthly (from £29) is by Direct Debit, so it just ticks along. No setup fees hidden in the small print.
Can I change things later?
Course. Need a new number, a fresh photo, a price tweaked or a service added? Text me and I'll sort it. Small edits (up to about half an hour a month) are part of the monthly — bigger jobs I'll quote you first. No tickets, no waiting.
